In honor of that and because any month is a good month to visit a world-class burger establishment, I recently stopped by Bobby’s Burger Palace. Recently, the menu at the restaurant was revamped to include two new milkshake flavors ( served with decadently thick homemade whipped cream), a griddled pimento cheese and bacon sandwich, and four new burger styles ( each beautifully highlighting the local flavors of a different region of America).These additions to the menu arrive just in time for National Burger Month (May). This burger lover’s paradise provides guests with a kingdom’s worth of flavor, and now that flavor is expanding. Last year, Long Island’s second Bobby’s Burger Palace in Roosevelt Field closed.īurger Palaces at the Live! Casino and Hotel in Hanover, Maryland, the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport still appear to be open.Bobby’s Burger Palace-the unassuming one-of-a-kind burger joint at Mohegan Sun casino that is owned by celebrity chef Bobby Flay-is a culinary jackpot. Other Bobby Flay locations in the mini chain that have closed since the pandemic started include the Freehold Raceway Mall, the Bergen Town Center, and the K Street location in Washington, D.C. The MarketFair Burger Palace location closed in mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but at the time the closure was thought to be temporary. The West Windsor location has recently faced competition from other gourmet burger chains like Shake Shack that offer my options like gluten-free buns, lettuce wraps, and desserts made in partnership with local businesses.
At the time, fans flocked to the restaurant with the retro diner decor for Flay’s gourmet burgers, sweet potato fries, and milkshakes.
